ShowMeCables new WM8-4G-4GP+EC is an 8 port, PoE+ capable, triple speed industrial Ethernet switch offering a cost-effective, PoE friendly solution for connecting devices over a gigabit network.
The WM8-4G-4GP+EC unit has 4x 10/100/1000TX RJ45 ports and 4x 10/100/1000TX RJ45 ports capable of delivering end-span PoE+ power at the IEEE 802.3at standard of up 30 watts per port with an overall power budget of 60 watts. It is fully backwards compatible with IEEE 802.3af standards. It is excellent for powering hard to reach PoE capable IP devices such as security cameras, telephones, building control systems, access points, traffic systems and IoT (Internet of Things) devices. The power supply is included.
Our WM8-4G-4GP+EC switch is easy to use with an unmanaged, plug and play design including LED indicators for both data and PoE power usage. It will auto detect IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at equipment to protect devices from being damaged by incorrect installation. A metal, IP30 rated casing protects the switch making it appropriate for Industrial or Commercial applications. Its compact design can be wall, DIN rail or magnet mounted (to a magnetic metal surface) using the supplied materials. A front facing DIP switch allows the unit to be easily changed between standard, VLAN and extended modes. Please see the user manual for full operating details.
